Many of the most beautiful meals of my life have been at Cellar Door. Their food, the atmosphere at the restaurant, and the care put into the menu and wine selection create a magical dining experience. We ate there this week for a special occasion and loved the steak, radishes, asparagus, and a lovely tortellini with subtle herb flavors. The bread and house-made pickles are a must-order. Perfect spot for a special occasion, dinner with friends, or meal with a book at the bar.

We had a guest from out of the country. We allowed Chef Megan to design our meal menu. We were not disappointed! The dishes were all unique and delicious. Great service from entry to exit. The owner/chef personally delivers numerous dishes to each table. A true Gem

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary a little while ago. Everything about our experience was perfect. We kept thinking about things to praise in the car ride home. Music, lighting, the seating arrangement we had, and of course all the things we ate. I'm writing this entirely out of appreciation because it was just a really pleasant evening. Thank you!

I’ve followed them on instagram for awhile so there was a lot of build-up. They did not disappoint. All the food was spot on, well-executed and definitely seasonally driven. Our wine was great and our server was attentive. Next time we’re in Chicago, definitely coming back

Dishes were creative and unique, had amazing flavor profiles. I absolutely love the lamb carpaccio, never had raw lamb before, it was cured well and paired with gooseberries that popped in the mouth and cut through the greasiness. Mussels were also mind blowing with the taste and creativity. Everything was fantastic until the blue prawns get in the way, they were still kinda raw I know that’s how some places do it but I felt uncomfortable eating raw shrimps, and desserts were subpar. However overall it’s amazing and definitely worth going back for new menu rotations
